In the House today we approved a bill to allow free parking around the Capitol. No more plugging a meter, if the Senate approves it, and the Gov. signs it. Our desire is to increase access to the Capitol.

Things are rolling…We printed several bills in the Business Committee today, and voted on some cleanup bills on the House Floor.
Day 12 Idaho Legislative Update

In the House State Affairs Comm. today we voted to outlaw camping on State property. This will require the Occupy Boise group to find a new place to setup their encampment. The law still allows for protests, demonstration, rallies, etc. but not camping overnight.
